A Jersey Girl, Back in Jersey

I'm from New Jersey. My parents are from New Jersey. My grandparents were from New Jersey (and the folks before them hail form the other side of the pond). 

I never thought I'd leave New Jersey. During a quick walk down a hallway in college, I quickly eyed up a poster about the Walt Disney World College Program and that was the first time I knew it was time to leave the place I had called home for nearly 20 years.

From there I called Delaware, Virginia and Maryland my home, before coming full-circle back to Delaware, where I lived for nearly 13 years. Then family, traditions and heartstrings brought me back to Jersey after more than 15 years away. 

Follow along as a I make my way back to my roots, exploring the state I call home again. I'll share my travels from both around the state and beyond, my love all great food, great drink, my insane and funny family and amazing friends.
